Due to the steadily increasing costs of fuel, the airlines could implement fuel surcharges at any time without notice. Classic Vacations recommends that all air tickets, including contracted air, should be paid for at the time of booking in order to protect the travelers from potential fuel surcharges. Classic’s Travel Smart Plan and Change and Cancellation Waiver does not cover fuel surcharges.

Published air is non-refundable in most cases. If changed after being ticketed, most fares require that the passenger complete travel one year from the date the air was originally ticketed. Please verify this date with a Classic Travel Specialist.

Please verify the exact spelling of each passenger’s name as it appears on their Government issued Identification and Passport. Name corrections may result in loss of specific flight inventory and increased pricing.

Travel Smart Plan

You have purchased the Travel Smart Plan as a part of your vacation. You may change or cancel any part of your vacation, prior to or during travel, without paying the normally assessed change & cancellation charges imposed by Classic Vacations, hotels, airlines or activity providers (if cancelled 24 hours prior to scheduled use), unless otherwise noted. (The purchase price for non-refundable tickets is not included, nor is frequent flier redemption or redeposit fees). The Travel Smart Plan also covers up to two change fees or one cancellation fee per person for any reason on published air, and it protects you from airline and hotel rate increases once your deposit is received. Travelers 17 years of age and younger are covered at no cost when all adults in your traveling party purchase the Travel Smart Plan.

In addition, the Travel Smart Plan also includes an insurance product. This product covers against certain types of trip cancellation. It also includes protection against trip interruption; trip delay; emergency evacuation; medical protection; baggage protection and 24-Hour worldwide emergency assistance. The insurance product is administered by Travel Guard International of Stevens Point, WI and is underwritten by National Union Fire Insurance Company of Pittsburgh, PA. Certain exclusions and limitations apply. A complete description of coverage will be included with your travel documents.

The Travel Smart Plan does not cover no shows, missed flights, name changes, tax increases (including fuel, airline and airport surcharges), lost or stolen tickets, client-initiated changes which result in fare or accommodation cost increases, air routing changes, private jet charters, yachts and villas, lack of proper documentation for departing or re-entering the U.S., or requests to change flights provided as a result of a carrier initiated schedule change. The Travel Smart Plan is not refundable. Classic Vacations reserves the right to suspend offering and selling the Travel Smart Plan at any time.

A passport is required when traveling outside of the United States. If any passenger carries anything other than a US passport, please contact the Consulate of the country(s) you are visiting to verify document requirements. If you do not have appropriate documentation, you will be denied entry and any applicable fees are not covered by travel protection.
